The founder of our company, Mr. Minsiu Chen, is a chemical engineer, who introduced the Japanese ethos and meticulousness in R&D to the Taiwanese refractory industry 50 years ago. He established a fully equipped R&D and testing laboratory in our Tamsui factory back in 1988, which obtained in 2019 an ISO 17025 certification.
Each member of our R&D team has been hand-picked by Mr Minsiu Chen and has worked under his guidance and supervision for decades. We possess 50 years of experience of offering services to a wide spectrum of industries and we are dedicated to developing innovations that address our clients’ production issues. We collaborate closely with our clients to meet their present and future needs. The great attention that Good Furnace Ltd pays to R&D is reflected by our laboratory personnel to production personnel ratio, which is one of the highest in the industry.
